The receiver works as advertised. The old MR single receivers without the antenna aren't compatible with this remote. Different frequencies. Also, mine came with a "rapid fire" and a "all fire" button located under the battery box. neither of these buttons work. I didn't know the 1200 remote was going to feature that. I used nine channels for the 4th and it worked flawlessly. Personally, I recommend this remote over the 24 or 36 button remote because it's compatible with the new single, quad, six, and eight cue transmitters. If they made a 12 cue transmitter it would be great. I had no issues programming the different channels. Rugged box, but the keys are a bit fragile. I'm very happy!! (Posted on 7/18/2015)
